Our team works collaboratively with local, state, and federal government and regulatory agencies to generate meaningful outcomes for both the environment and the community. Our suite of services, from Reclamation work, to Trust Management or Environmental Liability Transfers, allows us the flexibility to address the environmental issues. We also continually work with the communities and corporate partners through our Corporate Environmental Responsibility work to constantly reinforce meaningful outcomes. Our knowledge of reclamation and the complexities of these issues make us the perfect partner to tackle your project.

TRUST MANAGEMENT

Companies looking for a solutions to increased bond requirements and other rising cost can consider starting a trust to manage enviromental liabilities.  Natural Streams Foundation has an established trust to assist when this situation arises for your company. Funding for these types of projects is always a hurdle to consider. In some cases, a trust is the right mechanism to ensure there are financial resources available to address environmental issues. Once the trust is established, NSF can manage the financial resources and operate this site as directed.

There are infinite possibilities for trust-funded projects, ranging from operating water treatment systems and maintaining water discharge sites, to capital projects that ensure efficiency in the clean-up of coal refuse and wetland construction.

RECLAMATION WORK

One goal of Natural Streams Foundation is to work with organizations that want to address public health or safety concerns in their communities. There are so many ways we can work together to protect and preserve a community that has seen environmental impacts from industrial work.

NSF can work with organizations to obtain and receive sub-awards for grant applications through several programs, including the AML, AMD, AMD set-aside, and AMLER programs to address legacy coal mining sites. Our team has vast experience in project identification, grant writing, project management and reporting.

Legacy liabilities and closed assets weight on the balance sheet and cash flow for many companies.  Natural Streams Foundation will partner with your organization to find creative solutions that address any project no matter the scope. Specifically, Natural Streams Foundation can assumes the full liability transfer of assets which the Foundation will own and operate.

After the transfer, the Foundation will ensure proper environmental compliance for long term projects or quickly reach final reclamation. These projects align with our mission and provide our organization long term projects that support our mission.
